The cruises compared here
These are the two sunset boats in English that this page compares. One leaves from Fornells Port, in the north, and sails; the other leaves from Cala'n Bosch, in the south, and follows the coast towards Ciutadella.
The two listings sell different evenings, so here they are side by side, with what each includes and what it does not.
1What each evening looks like
The Fornells trip lasts between two and a quarter and three hours. You sail for about an hour and a half, anchor in a cove for snacks and drinks, and watch the sunset on the way back to Fornells Port. Food and drink are included: unlimited water and soft drinks, cured meat, cheese, crisps and other snacks.
The Cala'n Bosch cruise lasts two hours and heads towards Ciutadella, past the Pont d'en Gil arch and the Cap d'Artrutx lighthouse, with a glass of cava and background music. Extra drinks from the bar are not included.
2Price, reviews and cancellation
Fornells costs from €65 and has a 9.2 from 449 reviews. Cala'n Bosch costs from €32 and has an 8.9 from 194 reviews. The Fornells tour is limited to 12 people at most; the Cala'n Bosch listing does not give a group size.
The Fornells trip can be cancelled for free up to 48 hours before, the Cala'n Bosch one up to 24 hours before. The Fornells listing says it is not wheelchair accessible.
3Which one to choose
Choose Fornells if you want a quiet evening under sail, with food included and few people on board. Choose Cala'n Bosch if you want to spend less, are staying in the south, and a cava and two hours are enough.
Both listings leave the departure time to the date you pick, so choose the slot that matches sunset on your day. Check the booking page for the time.
