The cruises compared here
Three of the four trips on this page are not from Malaga: two leave from Puerto Banús, in Marbella, and one from Estepona. All three have few reviews, between 15 and 26, so their high scores are a hint, not a guarantee.
Here is what each listing says and when one beats the others.
1What they have in common
All three have an English-speaking guide or escort, include a drink and a snack, and offer a swim stop if the sea allows. None is wheelchair accessible. The two Puerto Banús trips need cancelling 48 hours ahead for a refund, and Estepona 24 hours.
Dolphins appear in all three listings as a possibility. None guarantees them.
2The dolphin catamaran: the most complete
It is 2 hours from pontoon 1 at Puerto Banús, with groups of no more than 12. On board there are fishing rods, paddle surf equipment, snorkeling goggles, water, wine, cava, soft drinks, beer and snacks such as chips, nuts and olives.
It starts at 60 €, the highest of the three, but almost everything is included. It has a 9.5 from 15 reviews.
3The sailboat: for sailing
It runs for 2 or 3 hours, from 49 € per person, on a sailboat with a deck with sun loungers, three double cabins, a kitchen and a living area. The listing includes drinks, snacks, paddleboarding equipment and a snorkeling mask.
The minimum age is 12 and the maximum group is 12. It has a 9.7 from 18 reviews.
4The Estepona cruise: the cheapest
It lasts about 2 hours and starts at 40 €, with a guide, a drink, a snack and informative material. It leaves from Pantalán 5 in Estepona marina, not from Puerto Banús, so pick it if you are staying there. It has a 9.2 from 26 reviews.
