The cruise to check first
The Isla Mujeres catamaran from Playa del Carmen is sold with hotel pickup and return, so the question is less where the pier is and more when and where the pickup arrives. The listing does not name the departure pier.
Three things matter before you book: the pickup window for your departure, the start-time check with the supplier and the pier tax, which is paid separately.
1Hotel pickup windows
The listing gives two departure times for the boat. For a 10:00 departure the supplier picks you up between 7:00 and 8:30. For a 12:00 departure the pickup is between 9:00 and 10:30.
Ask at your hotel reception where the pickup point is. The listing warns that if you are not in that spot at the time given, you will miss the trip.
2Reconfirm the start time
The listing asks you to reconfirm the start time with the supplier before the trip, using the phone number shown on the listing itself. This page cannot confirm which departure applies to your date.
The listing also does not name the operator, the boat or the pier, so the supplier call is where you learn your exact pickup slot.
3Pier tax and cancellation
The price from € 44.80 does not include the pier tax of 20 USD per person. It is the only exclusion the listing names.
Cancellation is free up to 36 hours before the activity. After that, or if you arrive late or do not show up, there is no refund.
