The cruises compared here
Formentera is the other island you can reach in a day, but the trip that goes there is the longest and the most expensive of the Ibiza boats on Civitatis, and the only one you cannot cancel. The coves on the Ibiza side are shorter and several of them can be cancelled free.
All four boats leave from San Antonio. Scores and prices are those on the listings on 29 October 2026.
1What each trip does
The Es Vedrà and Formentera trip lasts about nine hours. It passes Es Vedrà, snorkels at Espalmador and leaves free time at La Savina, on Formentera, with paella on board. The return leaves La Savina at 5:30 pm.
Cala Bassa and Cala Conta is a six-hour cruise with two one-hour stops, one in each cove, with snorkelling and paddle surfing. The hippie boat takes about three hours and stops at Cala Salada. The Es Vedrà boat takes four hours along the south-west coast to the islet, with sea caves and coves on the way.
2Food, refunds and price
Formentera comes with lunch (paella and fruit) and drinks, but costs €155 and the listing says it does not allow changes or refunds. Cala Bassa and Cala Conta includes unlimited food on board and drinks for €69, with free cancellation up to 4 hours before. The Es Vedrà boat, at €45, includes a snack and drinks and can be cancelled free up to 24 hours before. The hippie boat, from €80, includes fruit and drinks and refunds 100% if you cancel after confirming.
A Formentera bus ticket is listed as not included in the Es Vedrà and Formentera trip.
3Which one to book
Book Formentera if setting foot on the island matters more to you than the price, and if your dates are firm. Book Cala Bassa and Cala Conta if you want a full day on the water with food sorted and room to cancel. If you only want to see Es Vedrà, the four-hour boat is a third of the Formentera price, though it has only 85 reviews.
The hippie boat is the one for the best score and a shorter outing, with 113 reviews. Check the booking page for the times on your date.
